Hi Everyone,
my name is John I work at East Durham Partnership at Seaview Ind Est. Horden, Co. Durham.

We are a charity who offers Training and support to unemployed people in the district of Easington area.
We offer Job Search Facilities, C.V. Development, work with a mentor to improve your interview techniques,
Update your Adult Literacy or Numerecy through Learn Direct.
We work with a number of different partners so if we cant help you the chances are we can signpost you to a partner who can.

One of the things that makes the charity special is the Community Re-use And Training Enterprise (Crate), which provides work placements and job opportunities while at the same providing people with an invaluable service and helping the environment.

We collected unwanted items from residents in the Easington district and bring them into our warehouse.

Here we get trainees, who are out of work, to help refurbish and clean the products and get them ready to be sold here.

It’s not just furniture, we re-use white goods as well such as fridges, freezers and cookers.

It.s ideal for anyone just rehoused as the furniture is very affordable.
