If youve been unemployed for more than a year is there any leisure passes or any way of getting free gym time or anything else free. Thanks.

Hi Carl63,

In the past I have known of people accessing gym sessions via a referral from their GP. I would imagine your GP would have to feel that your state of health is in need of improvement and that using a gym would be beneficial before referring you.

As for free leisure passes; you could always go into your local library and seek out some leaflets and info there. You might want to think about joining community groups, where you could learn basic IT skills etc.

If you let us know the area in which you live, we could possibly find out more information from other members about things to do in your area. :)
